    Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar logam berat Cu Cd dan Pb pada sampel di semua lokasi bervariasi dan telah melebihi baku mutu yang ditetapkan di Indonesia (Cu dan Pb 0 008 mg/kg dan Cd 0 001 mg/kg). Rata-rata kadar logam Cu dan Pb tertinggi ditemukan pada sampel dari area Pelabuhan Sekupang yaitu 23 94 mg/kg dan 11 24 mg/kg. Logam Cu dan Pb ditemukan terakumulasi dalam konsentrasi yang lebih tinggi dalam jaringan akar daripada dalam sedimen sedangkan di jaringan daun Cu dan Zn ditemukan lebih dari 10 dari yang ada di akar.
